Mitra
From the eleventh century, the bishops of the Catholic Church used the Mitra cover at religious ceremonies. At the back of Mitra there are two stripes hanging from the “Old Testament” and “New Testament.” The Old Testament is the Bible of the Jews, which Christians have accepted, and as the first part of the two Biblical sections.
