In classic Trump style, various improvements were made including the addition of a 20,000 square foot ballroom the decorating of which involved $7 million worth of gold leaf and the installation of gold plated sinks. In 1989 portrait painter Ralph Wolfe Cowan painted a portrait of Trump that came to be titled ‘The Visionary’.
