Vesoul Festival in France

The main program of the 28th Vesoul Festival of Asian Cinemas features 9 sections of “Feature Competition,” “Preview,” “Documentaries Competition ,” “History in Background,” “Tribute to Kôji Fukada,” “Focus on the Silk Road cinemas,” “Tribute to Xie Fei,” “Animation,” “Young Audience.” In the Feature Films Competition, 9 movies from Bangladesh, China, Korea, Iran, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Philippines and Taiwan will be screened. “No Land’s Man,” by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, from Bangladesh; “The Coffin Painter (Yi Xiang Lai Ke),” by Da Fei, from China; “Yanagawa,” by Zhang Lu, from China; “Aloners,” by Hong Sung-eun, from Korea; “No choice (Majboorim),” by Reza Dormishian, from Iran; “Along the Sea (Umibe no kanojotachi),” by Fujimoto Akio, from Vietnam; “2000 Songs of Farida,” by Yolkin Tuychiev, from Uzbekistan; “Trap,” by Brillante Mendoza, from Philippines; “The Falls (Pu Bu),” by Chung Mong-hong, from Taiwan.
