Both the World Press Photo of the Year and the World Press Photo Story of the Year awards carry a cash prize of €10,000. Nominees are invited to Amsterdam by the World Press Photo Foundation to attend the awards presentation and the World Press Photo Festival on April 17 and 18, featuring presentations, meetings and workshops.
