Majid Hosseini, born in 1979 in Mashhad, is a fundamentalist writer, journalist and media activist. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Tehran and is one of the top candidates in the national entrance exam. He is currently a lecturer on political and social issues and an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University and a researcher. He also held the position of media advisor to the mayor during the time of Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, and also managed the Hamshahri magazine group. He served in the 1400 elections as one of the activists of the main campaign and is also the founder of the Book Garden.
