Photographer Jacki Bruniquel captured this bride during her Haldi ceremony, in which a bride and groom are covered in a mixture of turmeric, chickpea flour, and rosewater, according to The Knot. It’s traditional to cover the couple in Haldi a few days before the wedding, as it’s believed to bring good luck and ward off evil.
