Tom Hanks is one of the most beloved actors in America, but to his three granddaughters, he’s “Papou,” the Greek word for grandfather. In an interview with Us Weekly, Hanks’ son Colin said the elder Hanks and Rita Wilson are the typical doting grandparents. “The grandparents give them stuff they shouldn’t be having, and the grandparents don’t listen to what the parents are saying they should be doing,” he joked.
