They had a special attitude about their shoes
The Egyptian people were often barefoot. Even the pharaohs were the same. They had special servants, whose duty was to carry the sandals of the rulers. Sometimes the floor of the aristocratic sandals was decorated with the image of the face or the name of their enemies in order to tempt them symbolically.
