Gene had inherited the fight from his father Pablo Forlan. Uruguay striker in the two World Cups, 1966 and 1974. Forlan’s father was a national team headed by Carlos Corazzo, grandfather of Diego Forlan. The Forlan family is the football history of this country. Grandfather became the champion of the World Cup. Father was one of Uruguay’s best players in the 1966 FIFA World Cup, and Diego was a boy who was to show himself under the shadow of his father and grandfather.
