Sofia Hellqvist, a former model and reality television personality, and Prince Carl Philip met by chance in 2010 while eating in a restaurant. Both were with friends, and as luck would have it, Hellqvist’s friends knew the prince’s friends. In 2011, they moved in together, and by 2014, they were engaged. The couple have two children.
