Mondays are forbidden
If your license plate ends with numbers 1 or 2 and live in Manila, you must be happy on Monday. According to the very strange laws of the city, cars whose license plate numbers ending at 1 or 2 do not have to run Mondays (a good excuse to escape work). Bypassing this law is never hidden from the traffic police, which completely monitors traffic on Monday. So stay home and read a newspaper and blame the police instead of being fined yourself.
