The attacks killed more than 2,000 Iranians and fired about a quarter of the population of Tehran, the capital of Iran. The Iranians responded to the attack by firing 75 to 77 missiles, the HaSSong-5, the North American Skoda model. Most of the targets of the Iranian military were in Baghdad.
