[custom_adv] This year, Miss World Canada gave me the opportunity to be selected as a finalist to represents Quebec for the 2018 pageant! The annual pageant is held each summer in Toronto, Ontario. [custom_adv] Tina Khadivi will be competing with other finalist from around Canada. Tina moved to Canada only 4 years ago. Currently she is studying Finance and International business in college. [custom_adv] She is involved involved in community and works as a volunteer and on advisory boards that do research on how the better educate our youth. [custom_adv] She says she decided to participate in a beauty contest because as a child she had always fantasized about it. Last year by chance in her facebook just by chance she noted that there where sign ups for the Miss World Canada contest, is was at that time that she decided to take on this challenge. [custom_adv] Tina explained that to start she had to submit a picture, after that was approved, then they asked her to about many things, what she is studying, what are her goals and hopes, why did she want to be part of this contest, any leadership roles?... and many more questions, the final part was a telephone interview. [custom_adv] After I passed all the step I was picked as one of the candidates, the finals event will be going on very soon, later in July. I am one of the final 50 finalists, representing Quebec.
