Persepolis suffered its second loss in four matches in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Wednesday.
Persepolis football team lost to Malavan 2-1 in Bandar Anzali, northern Iran. Mehrdad Oladi was on target for Malavan just six minutes into the match but Persepolis striker Reza Norouzi equalized the match in the 18th minute from the penalty spot.
With two minutes remaining in the first half, Mohsen Yusefi scored the winner for Malavan. Persepolis started the current season with a draw with Naft in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium. The team lost to Foolad in Ahvaz in the second week and beat Zob Ahan 1-0.
