Nava Rouhani is the daughter of Anoushirvan Rouhani, a famous composer and musician, who has worked behind the scenes in various fields such as filming, editing, assistant director and production management. Her brother, Reza Rouhani, studied and worked in the field of music and composition like his father. Nava Rouhani also has a close relationship with Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, the female director of cinema, and has worked with her in various positions in three films, “Gilaneh”, “Khonbazi” and “Stories”. She also collaborated with Majid Majidi as the stage secretary for the first time in the movie “Bide Majnoon”.
