Want to study at one of the world’s top 100 universities? The QS World University Rankings offers an annually updated list of the top 1,400+ universities worldwide. We will be revealing which of these made the top 100. In the 2023 edition of the QS World University Rankings, just under half of the top 100 universities in the world are located in the US (which has 27 representatives) or the UK (17). The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 include 1,799 universities across 104 countries and regions, making them the largest and most diverse university rankings to date. The table is based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
