A general who became a gardener

General Seyyed Aminullah Kowsar (1291–1378), who, after predicting the fate of the country, requested retirement at the age of 49 (1340) and preferred to make a garden and remain a gardener, not a soldier. The garden he created in Haftenan, Shiraz, was in existence for many years after his death. Haftanan residents of Shiraz may remember “General Station” on bus line 14 of Shiraz.
