Jahanbakhsh Pazouki (also spelled Pazoki or Pazooki) is a renowned composer, lyricist, and arranger born on May 25, 1937, in Shiraz. He is celebrated for his contributions to Persian pop and traditional music, particularly during the 1970s and 1980s. After the Islamic Revolution, he relocated to Los Angeles, where he continued to influence Persian music. Pazouki began his musical journey in Tehran in the 1970s, collaborating with prominent artists such as Akbar Golpayegani, Hayedeh, Sattar, Mahasti, Homeyra, Moein, and Martik.
