It’s a chilly December 21st, and The Beatles—John, Paul, George, and Ringo—have just completed a world tour. Invited by a group of artists and musicians, they decide to spend Yalda Night, the longest night of the year, in a warm and welcoming Persian home. The room is adorned with intricate carpets, glowing candles, and bowls brimming with pomegranates and watermelon, staples of Yalda festivities. As they step into the home, the aroma of saffron-infused tea and freshly baked naan wafts through the air. A traditional Persian tar player strums soft melodies, setting the tone for the evening. The Beatles are fascinated by the tales of Shahnameh, epic poem, as a storyteller recites ancient verses about courage and love.
