With a selection of critically acclaimed and emerging films, IRFFNY provides a rare opportunity for cinephiles and industry professionals to engage with storytelling. The festival not only highlights the diversity of cinema but also sheds light on the challenges faced by filmmakers working within and outside. The 2025 edition of the festival saw participation from some of the most prominent figures in cinema, including actors, directors, and film critics. Notably, renowned actor Bahram Radan attended the premiere of Breakfast with Giraffes, engaging in an insightful Q&A session with the audience. Other guests included celebrated actress Fatemeh Motamed-Aria, who participated in a retrospective of her work.
