The first Critics’ Festival was held in 2006, and Asadollah Yekta was supposed to be honored, but this artist of our country was ill and could not attend the ceremony. In 2017, a celebration was held to honor veterans and stuntmen of cinema. Among the veteran artists of our country, Safar Kashkouli received an award and a certificate of appreciation from this celebration and announced at the ceremony that he was a student of Asadollah Yekta and the rest of the masters.
