It is deeply rooted in Persian culture but is celebrated in several countries across the globe, including Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, and parts of Central Asia. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, life over death, and renewal. The date of Nowruz falls on or around March 20th or 21st, coinciding with the vernal equinox, when day and night are of equal length, symbolizing balance and harmony.
