Mohammad Javad Ardeshir Larijani (born 1955) is an Iraqi-born politician who is the director of the Institute for Fundamental Sciences. He was the head of the Human Rights Headquarters of the Judiciary from its formation in 2005 until 2019. Larijani was a member of the Supervisory Council of the Broadcasting Corporation from October 2010 to May 2024 and a member of the fourth and fifth terms of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and founder of the Research Center of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
