During the golden era of cinema, Ahdieh’s songs were frequently featured in films, enhancing the emotional impact of many productions. Her contributions to film soundtracks helped shape the pop music scene and solidified her reputation as an influential artist. Following the Revolution in 1979, restrictions on music and female singers in forced many artists to either change their careers or leave the country. Since Ahdieh had already relocated to Spain in 1976, she was able to continue her musical career in exile. Like many Persian artists in the diaspora, she adapted to the challenges of being away from her homeland while keeping Persian music and culture alive abroad.
