The funeral ceremony for the late cinema, theater, and television actor Mohammad Kassibi was held on Tuesday, October 12, 1404, in the presence of the public and artists at the Arts Center. In this ceremony, the body of Mohammad Kassebi was escorted to the Artists’ Plot of Behesht Zahra (PBUH) with speeches by Majid Majidi, Masoud Dehnamaki, Kourosh Soleimani, singing by Hesamuddin Siraj, and… Masoud Dehnamaki, filmmaker and longtime friend of Kassebi, recalled his sincerity and commitment both on and off screen, saying that “Kassebi was not just an actor — he was a teacher of humanity, humility, and honesty.”
Kourosh Soleimani, one of his close colleagues in theater, praised Kassibi’s contributions to nurturing younger generations of actors, highlighting his tireless efforts in supporting cultural and educational projects. The atmosphere of the ceremony was filled with emotion as Hesamuddin Seraj, the renowned vocalist, performed a soulful piece in memory of the late artist, bringing many attendees to tears.
