A Signature of Timeless Elegance

Moza bint Nasser is one of the most influential public figures in Qatar and the broader Middle East. Born in 1959 in Al Khor, she rose to international prominence as the second wife of former Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the mother of the current Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Beyond her royal status, she is widely recognized for her work in education, social development, and cultural diplomacy.

She is the chairperson of the Qatar Foundation, an institution she helped establish to transform Qatar into a knowledge-based society. Under her leadership, the foundation has launched major initiatives such as Education City, which hosts branches of leading international universities and research centers. Her vision has played a central role in modernizing Qatar’s education system and expanding opportunities for young people, especially women.
