About Mehrdad Minavand

Each defensive lineman sets up in a three-point or four-point stance before the snap of the ball. They typically place either one or two hands on the ground. Standard defensive sets include the 4-3 and the 3-4, so-called for the number of players on the defensive line and the number of linebackers behind them. The Defensive Coordinator determines the defensive set as part of the overall defensive scheme.
