Actress, Icon, and the Face

Sahar has often described herself as “family-oriented,” saying her mother’s encouragement gave her courage to step into acting despite initial resistance from conservative relatives. Sahar’s entry into the entertainment world was not straightforward. She began attending acting workshops in her early 20s and auditioned for several minor roles before landing her first part in the movie “Laj o Lajbazi” (Stubbornness and Playfulness, 2009).

However, it was her breakout performance in the TV series “Delnavazan” (2009) that made her a household name across. Her portrayal of Yalda, a romantic and emotional character, resonated with many young viewers. The show’s success propelled Sahar into stardom almost overnight — a rare phenomenon in tightly regulated film industry.  After Delnavazan, she began receiving offers for both cinema and television, quickly becoming one of the most in-demand actresses of the 2010s.
