Alireza Vahedi Nikbakht is a football coach and retired player. He has played for Aboomoslem, Esteghlal, Al-Wasl, Persepolis, Steel Azin, Saba Qom, Paykan, Damash Gilan, Khoneh Be Khoneh, and the national team for which he scored 14 goals in 73 appearances. Alireza Nikbakht Vahedi was born on July 30, 1980 in Mashhad. He was a professional football player and played as a winger. He currently works as a football coach. In 1999, he signed a contract with the big and popular Esteghlal Club of Capital. Nikbakht Vahedi gradually became a key and influential figure in the capital’s blue team. He played seven seasons for Esteghlal and played in 138 league games for the team. In the meantime, he opened the gates of the opponents 22 times and sent 4 assists. He played for the capital’s Reds for three years. During this period, Alireza played 85 games in the Premier League, opening the gates of rivals 26 times and scoring 19 assists. He won the Premier League championship with the Persepolis shirt.
