Created in 1995, the aim of the Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinemas is to present and promote the cinema of Asian territories, enhance intercultural dialogue and encourage the discovery of other cultures through cinema. The Festival also promotes its host city of Vesoul, the department of the Haute-Saône and the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. The mission of Asian Film Festival focuses on Asian culture and identity, heritage, community and experience through the filmmakers’ lens.
