[custom_adv] The Associated Press (AP) is a U.S.-based not-for-profit news agency headquartered in New York City. Founded in 1846, it operates as a cooperative, unincorporated association. It earned a 2019 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting for coverage of the civil war in Yemen.
