Shahandasht waterfall and Malek Bahman castle
The beautiful Shahanshad Waterfall is located in the eastern part of the Haraz Road, 100 km from Tehran, next to the village of Shahandesht (Shounabad). This high waterfall is about 50 meters high and runs through the Malek Bahman fortress and flows downhill. Bahman Fort is located in the south of the waterfall, dating back to the Sassanid period, which is one of the largest alpine mountain peaks in the mountain range.
