United Kingdom – Chip Butty
Butty is English slang for a sandwich. So, you might hear an English person refer to a bacon butty, which is essentially a bacon sandwich (also delicious). If you don’t know, a ‘classic’ chip butty is essentially hot French fries served between buttered white bread. See, simple. It is also beloved by most Brits if they go to a football match. While Burger King has introduced their own version of a chip butty, or French fry sandwich, I assure you this homemade version is much (MUCH) better.
