In one image, Theo is helping his mom hold Babi’s cake. In another, the kids are leaning in to kiss their great-grandmother. Ivanka ended the carousel of images with a close-up snapshot of her grandmother’s birthday cake, which was decorated with white icing and pink flowers. Ivanka also shared the images on her Instagram Stories along with a few additional family pictures. One of the throwback photos shows Ivanka playing the piano as a little girl, surrounded by her mother, brothers, and grandmother.
In the other more recent snapshot, she is posing with her grandmother while soaking up the sun on an outdoor patio. Ivanka’s tribute to her Grandma Babi comes less than three months after she marked the one-year anniversary of her mother’s death. Ivana was found dead at the age of 73 in her New York townhouse on July 14, 2022, after sustaining blunt impact injuries as the result of a fall down the stairs. The late Czech socialite is buried at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, where the Trumps often spend their summers together.
