Born as Reginald White Dwight in Middlesex, England on March 25th, 1947, Elton’s beginnings were rooted in music. Both his parents, Stanley Dwight and Sheila Eileen, were musically inclined, setting the stage for the musical prodigy he would become. His education took place at notable institutions like Pinner Wood Junior School, Pinner County Grammar School, and Reddiford School. However, he chose to forgo academics in favour of the music, a decision that certainly paid off in spades.
