We are honoured to welcome Farnoush Hamidian, the German model, artist and advocate, as a distinguished special guest at Her Majesty Farah Pahlavi’s birthday celebration. Farnoush’s journey is remarkable: born in the north (Mazandaran, near the Caspian Sea), she initially pursued microbiology, then interior design and architecture, before finding her true calling on the global fashion stage. After a life-altering struggle — including a serious brain infection in 2016 — she returned to modelling with renewed purpose and has emerged as a voice for diversity, empowerment and cultural identity.
Her projects span worldwide fashion campaigns (including for major brands), high-jewellery features, provocative magazine editorials and advocacy for women’s rights. In inviting Farnoush to this celebratory occasion, we recognise not only her artistry and international presence but also the ways in which her story resonates with themes of resilience, renewal, beauty and heritage — themes deeply aligned with Her Majesty Farah Pahlavi’s enduring contributions to culture, philanthropy and the community.
