Children of all ages are very welcome. Cots are free, as are extra beds for children under 12. Over-12s cost US$812.50 a night (includes tax). From 9am to 5.30pm, nanny services are free for tots 3-and-under; babysitting is US$10 an hour. Fijians have retained their land and often much of the noncommercial, sharing attitude of people who live in vast extended families with direct access to natural resources.
