After this forced migration, Dr. Kahramanlou obtained other educational and professional qualifications in America, among which we can mention the Board of Family Physician and two specializations in addiction diseases and infectious diseases (AIDS). Dr. Kahramanlu has written the story of his political life in his book called “Passing the Fire”.
Dr. Iraj Gahramanlou was born in 1325 in Qochan, was a medical student at Mashhad University, and was recruited into the Mojahedin Organisation in the last years of the 1940s. Mrs. Dr. Simin Salehi was also born in 1325 in Sirjan, and she is also a medical student at Mashhad University, but one year older than Dr. Gahramanlou. Finally, an emotional connection is formed between these two people, but Iraj tells Simin that he is involved in political activities, and despite this, they get married. Later, Simin is also recruited to the organisation through Iraj.
