At the ceremony, Simin Ghanem said to the attendees: my sympathy to the relatives of the deceased, and the music lovers known to Toraj. He was one of the purest human beings I’ve ever seen. He had a gentle and sensitive spirit. In spite of the problems and conditions, he stayed in the country and refused to accept low-level work. The last thing he said was “I miss the days because I did a lot of music but didn’t have the financial and spiritual support I needed.”
