Ghazaleh Saba, one of the most prominent fashion designers of her time, was born in 1933. She was the daughter of the renowned musician and composer Abolhassan Saba. In the fall of 1960, amidst the controversy surrounding the mini-jowl fashion in Tehran, Ghazaleh Saba introduced the midi style, bringing a fresh perspective to Iranian fashion. Her innovative designs gained public recognition when she showcased her new clothing models at the prestigious Vanak Hotel, marking a significant moment in Tehran’s fashion history.
