Several entertainment outlets reported that Emme had recently begun using the name “Oskar Muñiz” publicly during a high school graduation event.
At this point, multiple entertainment outlets have reported that Emme is now publicly using the name “Oskar Muñiz.” There have also been earlier public indications that Emme prefers gender-neutral pronouns. Back in 2022, Jennifer Lopez introduced Emme on stage using they/them pronouns during a public performance, which drew widespread media attention at the time. However, neither Jennifer Lopez nor Emme has publicly released a detailed personal statement confirming specific gender identity labels or publicly addressing all of the claims now circulating online.
