Amirshahi began her broadcasting career in the early 1990s, initially working with the television news and educational departments. In 1994, she was invited to join Radio, where she made her debut presenting the educational program Jahan-e Danesh (“World of Knowledge”). She later hosted additional radio programs, including Golgasht, a literary program, and Jelveh-ye Paydari, which focused on themes related to Sacred Defense. Her articulate delivery and warm voice helped establish her as a respected radio personality.
Jila Amirshahi gained nationwide recognition through her television work. She appeared in the program Seda dar Sima before becoming one of the presenters of the popular family television show Be Khaneh Barmigardim (“We’re Returning Home”) in 2000. The program covered topics such as family life, health, education, cooking, culture, and social issues, and became one of the most watched daytime programs on television.
