After losing her job, she struggled to pay her rent and was ultimately booted from her apartment, forcing her to take to the streets. At the time, DailyMail.com found her asleep under a shopping cart on a busy stretch of Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. Her arms, legs, toes and fingernails were black with dirt, and she had multiple open wounds and injuries on her body. She told DailyMail.com that she hadn’t showered in a year – but that she was purposely keeping herself as dirty as possible to prevent being assaulted.
