Mariah Carey was honored with the Global Impact Award during a gala event organized by the Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective on Thursday in Los Angeles. The singer showed up for the occasion in a sheer look created by Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli’s couture fall 2023 collection. The dress, which features a copper corset bodice and a matching flowy skirt that transitions into a dramatic tail, debuted on Schiaparelli’s runway with model Adut Akech. Carey, whose stylist is Wilfredo Rosado, accessorized the dress with sparkling pumps and diamond jewelry.
