Miss 2022 Mahrou Ahmadi has been officially announced to represent her country at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant in the Philippines this November. The 24-year-old beauty will be the second representative at Miss Earth and the first one to participate in a live competition. Last year’s Miss, Hima Zaker, the first-ever Miss Earth Iran, joined the virtual edition during the COVID-19 pandemic. Amid the chaos in her country resulting from the tragic death of a young woman named Mahsa Amini, the new Miss Earth promised to be the voice of her fellow people especially the girls, on the international stage, and she said: I stand with the women. This is for us.” Mahrou is a herbal medicine and medicine graduate. She is currently pursuing pharmacy at the University of Istanbul. Besides being a doctor, she is also a model, stylist, and fashion influencer with huge social media followers.
