Lightning Catatumbo

The catatumbo thunder is an atmospheric phenomenon. The unique combination of wind, hot and humid weather, and mountains that surround the three sides of the area, causing a thunderstorm to cause electric charge. This phenomenon occurs 260 nights a year and lasts 10 hours and 280 times per hour each time.
