Netanyahu’s Son and Fiancée End Their Engagement

“All people of Israel are paying the price and bearing it exceptionally,” he added. Later on Thursday evening, the prime minister sat for an interview with Ayala Hasson, the Kan public broadcaster’s news anchor. Addressing her question regarding reports of a shortage of Arrow missile interceptors, which are a key component for Israel’s air defense system designed to shoot down long-range ballistic missiles, Netanyahu said that he would be “happy to have more interceptors.”

Regarding the number of ballistic missiles Iran has left, he said: “We are attacking the launchers, so it doesn’t really matter how many missiles they have left.” He also said that he believes Israel has so far destroyed over half of the ballistic missiles Iran had before the war broke out. The prime minister also denied that his decision to go to war was based on political considerations. “The whole world knows, and you know too, that this has been my life’s work for the past 40 years,” he told Hasson.
