The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is around 1.6 million square kilometers – bigger than Texas. Our actions over the next 10 years will determine the state of the ocean for the next 10,000 years to come. We use cork for our insoles and midsoles due to it’s unique set of properties, not found in any other naturally existing material. It’s lightweight, comfortable, moldable, hypoallergenic, soft and buoyant. It’s the best of nature at your feet. We use recycled ocean plastic sourced from the Mediterranean and the coast of Africa.
