Kamaleddin Mostajaboddav’eh began his career in radio in 1945 by performing in the radio play Hassan Ghannad. In 1948, he was appointed head of radio drama productions, and in 1955 he took charge of the Ladies program. Later, he also became one of the radio’s announcers. During his numerous trips abroad, he studied radio broadcasting and its development. In 1959, he was appointed Director of the Department of Publications and Provincial Radio Stations.
In 1966, he founded the Association of Literature and Arts Companions, a professional and artistic organization established to promote and protect the professional and social rights of writers and artists. For many years, he hosted numerous radio competitions, including the popular Intelligence Contest (Mosabegheh-ye Hoosh), and he also presented the long-running radio program You and the Radio for many years.
