Prince Albert’s work has continued while Princess Charlene, who contracted an ENT infection earlier this year, remains in South Africa. The couple’s months-long separation has fuelled rumours of a royal split. Charlene was to return to Monaco sooner rather than later, but earlier this month was rushed to hospital after “suddenly collapsing”. The palace has since said the former Olympic swimmer’s condition is “reassuring”, while Albert himself has broken his silence on the supposed troubled marriage.
